Vale Bob King
Bowls NSW is saddened to hear of the passing of Bob King. Bob was a fierce competitor from the Newcastle region, gracing the greens as a member of Newcastle Jockey Club, Kotara, Charlestown, Alder Park and Kahibah over many years.
His extensive career achievements include:
- 27 caps for NSW
- 156 caps for Newcastle
- 8 Newcastle No.1 Pennants
- 4 NSW State No. 1 Pennants
- Sydney City Master Singles Champion
- Several Zone & Club Championships
Those who knew Bob will remember him as a great player and great character of the game.
Bob’s funeral will be held at Pettigrew Funerals, Belmont on Thursday 24th August at 12:30pm.
