Event Information
The Bowls NSW Inter-Schools Challenge is a new concept to showcase the benefits of lawn bowls as a sport to schools and their students!
Schools will partner with a local bowling club, who will conduct tuition and training, leading into setting up an intra school competition (2-bowl triples). Team are limited to one registered bowler per side.
Ideal for all students in Years to 7 – 12 to participate.
Tuition/Training/Competition can be run as part of school sport or out of school hours.
All bowling equipment will be supplied by the club – the only requirement is flat soled running shoes.
2026 Competition Timeline
Individual School Competition: Schools will conduct their own competition in Term 1 or 2, 2026. The winners must be confirmed by 3 July 2026.
Regional Finals: Take place in week 5 or 6 of Term 3, 2026, with venues to be confirmed by Bowls NSW in early Term 3.
State Finals: 20-21 October 2026 at Merrylands Bowling Club.
