Vale Des Skinner
Bowls NSW is saddened to hear of the passing of former Royal New South Wales Bowling Association Board member Des Skinner.
Des was an avid supporter of bowls at every level, and devoted a large amount of his life to the promotion of the sport. Des served as President of Bowls Australia from 2012 – 2015 as well as holding the position of President at Beresfield Bowling Club. His contribution to bowls in the Newcastle area in particular was fittingly recognised with NDBA Life Membership.
Des will be sorely missed, and we pass on our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
