State Junior Championships

Overview

The 2023-24 State Junior Championships will take place from 15-19 April at Warilla Bowling Club! In exciting news, the Junior Championships is now an entry based event open to all NSW Junior bowlers. Seven separate events will be held throughout the Junior Championships:

– Boys U18 Singles
– Girls U18 Singles
– Boys U15 Singles
– Girls U15 Singles
– Boys Pairs
– Girls Pairs
– Open Fours

Some of the best male and female bowlers in Australia started out as juniors in New South Wales, with the State Junior Championships laying the platform for greater success!

Entry Process

Players enter into events through BowlsLink. Players can enter teams into Pairs and Fours events, or enter themselves as a single entry to be allocated into teams by Bowls NSW.

Pairs and Fours teams must consist of players from the same Zone*. Players do not have to be from the same club.

*Except for single entry teams as outlined in the Conditions of Play

Eligibility

To enter and play in the State Junior Championships a player must be:

i. Registered as an Individual Member with Bowls NSW.
ii. Under the age of 18 years as at the scheduled completion date of the Championship.
iii. Under the age of 15 years as at the scheduled completion of the Championships for Under 15 years event.
