The Bowls NSW Member Conference is on again in 2024!
The Member Conference will be held at Wenty Leagues on Friday 1st November 2024. This year the Conference will have a strong focus on participation and engagement, a key priority for the future of our sport.
This conference will provide a valuable opportunity for members to hear from Bowls NSW and leading industry voices about the current landscape and future direction of our sport. This year’s theme will emphasize participation and member engagement, making it a pivotal event for all members to attend. We encourage you to join us for a day of insightful discussions and meaningful networking.

Guest Speaker
This year’s guest speaker is none other than Steve Glasson OAM!
One of the greatest players to grace the bowling green, Steve’s bowling resume as a player and coach is unmatched. In his playing career, Steve amassed three World Outdoor Championships Medals, eight Asia Pacific Championships Medals and a record nine Australian Indoor Championship titles.
His equally successful tenure as Head Coach of the Australian side saw the Jackaroos claim nine World Championship gold medals and eleven Commonwealth Games Medals across a six-year span.

Innovation for Increasing Participation
Hosted by Kerry Turner
Join former World Champion and trailblazer Kerry Turner as she leads an inspiring session on Innovation for Participation, designed to help you harness the latest trends to grow participation in Bowls, particularly for women and girls. This session is your chance to learn how to apply cutting-edge insights and strategies to create a more inclusive and thriving Bowls community.
Kerry has played 108 test caps for Australia in water polo. She has over 30 years’ experience working across Australian sport, including board and advisory roles at national and state level in sport and government, and recently spearheaded the NSW Government’s Women in Sport Strategy ‘Her Sport Her Way’, which has been the catalyst for change across the sector. She is passionate about inspiring women and girls to participate in sport and is currently a member of the AFL National Women’s Leadership Advisory Group and Sport NSW Women’s Advisory Council.
