14 NSW Bowlers Named in World Rankings Top 50
Hayman and Wedlock Secure 2nd Place Rankings
The Official World Bowls Rankings, launched on Wednesday, 19th June, feature 14 bowlers from New South Wales in the Top 50 of both the men’s and women’s categories.
Leading the charge for NSW are Dawn Hayman (St Johns Park) and Corey Wedlock (Warilla), who have both achieved 2nd place in the women’s and men’s rankings respectively, a reflection of their stellar performances on the greens at all levels!
Warilla’s Aaron Teys followed closely, securing 3rd place in the men’s rankings, further showcasing the depth of talent within NSW. Another notable achievement came from Cabramatta’s Aaron Wilson, who impressively clinched the 6th spot, reaffirming his status as one of the top bowlers in the world. Warilla’s Gary Kelly, representing Northern Ireland, also finished within the top 10.
Ellen Fife, who recently won the inaugural Platinum Pennant competition with Cabramatta, ranked 12th, while Raymond Terrace’s Natasha Van Eldik finished just inside the top 20 in the women’s rankings.
