Club Sapphire Merimbula to Host State Junior Championships!
We are thrilled to announce that the 2024-25 Bowls NSW State Junior Championships will be held at the picturesque Club Sapphire Merimbula from 14-17 April!
The Junior Championships is an entry-based event open to all junior bowlers across New South Wales.
The Junior Championships will feature seven separate events, providing a platform for developing and experienced players to showcase their skills:
- Boys U18 Singles
- Girls U18 Singles
- Boys U15 Singles
- Girls U15 Singles
- Boys Pairs
- Girls Pairs
- Open Fours
Members of pairs and fours teams are not required to be from the same club, but are required to be from clubs within the same Region boundaries.
Entries for team events may be submitted as single entries. Entries submitted in this way will be formed into teams (as possible) by Bowls NSW. Players in teams formed in this way may be from any club and are not required to be from within the same Region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for junior bowlers to compete, learn, and grow in a supportive and competitive environment. Many of Australia’s top bowlers began their careers in the State Junior Championships, with the event their stepping stone for future success.
