TAB Closest to the Jack Competition
Take Your Shot in the TAB Closest to the Jack Competition!
The TAB Closest to the Jack Competition will be taking place during the 2025 State Championships at Cherry Street Sports! Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or just keen to have a go, this is your chance to get involved and win some fantastic prizes.
How it Works
Each participant will have two attempts to roll their bowl as close to the jack as possible. Your best attempt will be recorded, and at the end of each session, the closest player will take home a daily prize pack, which includes:
– $100 Club Voucher
– Frank Green Coffee Cup
– Bowls NSW Merchandise
– TAB Merchandise
The competition runs across three days, and players can participate once per day. However, a player cannot win more than one daily prize—so new challengers have a shot at victory every day!

Even if you don’t take home a daily prize, simply registering to play puts you in the draw for the major prize—a brand-new set of TAB branded bowls!

Thursday 3rd April – 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Friday 4th April – 2:00pm – 3:00pm & 7:00pm – 7:30pm
Saturday 5th April – 2:00pm – 3:00pm

Who can Enter?
– Anyone aged 18+ – bowlers and non-bowlers alike!
– No need to bring your own bowls – we’ll provide them!
– No pre-registration required – just sign up on the day and take your shot!
