Gary Willis Nominated for Coach of the Year
Well done to Australian Jackaroos Coach Gary Willis who has been nominated for ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ at the 2022 NSW Sports Awards!
Gary was pivotal to Australia’s success on the greens, helping the Jackaroos achieve their best overseas medal tally at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The Jackaroos secured three Gold and three Silver medals, putting Australia at the top of the medal tally and marking just the second occasion that Australia has finished atop the medal tally at a Commonwealth Games held in an overseas country.
Gary’s nomination is a fitting recognition of his positive and professional approach to coaching, congratulations Gaz!
