BIOScapes NSW Blues Sides Selected for Australian Sides Championships
The BIOScapes NSW Blues Men’s and Women’s sides have been selected for the 2026 Australian Sides Championships, to be held at Osborne Park Bowling Club in Western Australia from 15–18 October.
NSW heads into the championships in strong form after impressive performances across the Queensland and Victoria Test Series.
The Blues began their preparations against Queensland, with the men completing a clean sweep and the women securing a 2–1 series victory. That momentum continued in the Victoria Test Series over the weekend, where the women produced a dominant 3–0 result and the men claimed the series 2–1.
Following those performances, the BIOScapes NSW Blues Women’s Side will remain unchanged for the Australian Sides Championships. The Men’s Side will feature several changes, including the return of Commonwealth Games representatives Aaron Wilson and Corey Wedlock.
There will be plenty on the line when the NSW Blues head west in October. The women will be looking to retain the Marj Morris Trophy after a dominant 2025 campaign in which they went unbeaten throughout the Championship.
The men, meanwhile, will be aiming to go one better after finishing runners-up last year, having claimed the title in 2024. Both sides will also be determined to keep the Overall Champions Trophy in NSW hands, with the trophy having remained with the state since 2018.
