Celebrate Our Community Champions: 2026 Bowls NSW Award Nominations NOW Open
Bowls NSW is excited to announce that Community Award nominations are now open for the 2026 Awards Night! It’s time to recognise the people and clubs who go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities and our sport.
The 2026 Awards Night will be held on Thursday, 29th October at Wenty Leagues.
Each year, the Awards Night shines a spotlight on those who make a real difference to bowls and their communities. There are six Community Award categories open for nominations:
Volunteer of the Year
Recognising individuals who have demonstrated consistent dedication to the sport through voluntary service to their local club, Region, and the broader bowling community.
Club Administrator of the Year
Recognising any individual, in either a paid or voluntary position, who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership and contribution as a club administrator, playing a significant role in the success and growth of their club.
Community Engagement Award
This award recognises the contributions a bowling club has made to its local community, with consideration given to its programs, initiatives, partnerships and other efforts that create a positive impact.
Coach of the Year
Celebrating individuals for their contributions and strong commitment as a coach to their local club, Region and broader bowling community, with consideration given to programs and initiatives that support the growth and development of the sport.
Umpire of the Year
This award celebrates the strong commitment and contribution of an umpire to their local club, Region and broader bowling community, with any programs or initiatives that benefit the sport also taken into consideration.
Club Innovation Award
Recognising a club that has showcased creativity in its approach to engaging new members and the broader community, through successful programs or initiatives that have increased member engagement and participation in the sport.
