BIOScapes NSW Para Blues Sides Selected for Para Nationals
The BIOScapes NSW Para Blues Men’s and Women’s sides have been selected for the 2026 Australian Para National Championships, to be held at North Beach Bowling Club in Western Australia from 6-10 October.
The selections follow two strong Test Series campaigns against Queensland and Victoria, providing both sides with valuable preparation ahead of Nationals.
The Para Men head to Western Australia in strong form after claiming series victories against both Queensland and Victoria. Michael Vassallo and Bryce de Bruyn, who featured in both winning Test Series sides, have been selected alongside 2026 Commonwealth Games Pairs gold medallist James Reynolds, who rounds out the trio.
The Para Women were highly competitive across both Test Series and will be looking to build on those performances at the national championships. Christine Constable and Simone Smith return after featuring against both Queensland and Victoria, while Carolyn Nelson returns to the side after missing the Victoria Test Series through injury.
