Entries Now Open for 2026 State Over 40’s Pairs
Entries are now open for the 2026 State Over 40’s Pairs, with teams across NSW encouraged to get involved in this exciting event.
The Over 40’s Pairs is open to men’s, women’s and mixed teams, giving players the opportunity to compete alongside a clubmate in a strong and competitive format. From qualifying, 32 teams will progress through to the State Finals.
Qualifying rounds will be held on 12–13 September 2026, with the State Finals to be played on 14–15 November 2026.
Matches will be played in the three-bowl pairs format, with each match played over 17 ends.
Qualifying will commence as sectional play, followed by knockout rounds. Exact qualifying draws will be determined once entries have closed. Qualifying will take place at venues across all 16 Regions, with venues to be announced at the same time as the event draw.
To be eligible, teams must consist of two players from the same club. Players from separate Men’s and Women’s sub-clubs of the same Bowling Club are also eligible to enter together.
Players must be aged 40 years and over on 1 July 2026 and 59 years or under at the scheduled completion of the Championship on 15 November 2026.
Members are encouraged to enter now and take part in what promises to be another fantastic State event.
