Let’s Roll! TAB Platinum Pennant is Back for Season III
Season III of the TAB Platinum Pennant is back, with the elite sides competition returning in February 2026 for another highly anticipated season.
Now entering its third season, the TAB Platinum Pennant brings together 12 powerhouse teams, featuring some of the world’s best bowlers. Across 11 rounds, teams will battle for ladder position, with only the top five earning the right to progress to the Finals Series.
Season III also welcomes two new clubs to the Platinum stage, with the Charlestown Tigers and Soldiers Point Soldiers joining the competition following a highly competitive expressions of interest process.

Magic Round Set for Soldiers Point
One of the highlights of the Platinum Pennant calendar returns in Round 2, with Magic Round set to take place at Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Saturday 28 February.
All teams. One venue. A full day of top-tier bowls.
Play will run between 11.00am and 4.00pm, with two matches commencing at 11.00am, followed by the remaining four matches at 4.00pm, delivering a showcase of the competition’s depth, talent and intensity in a single setting.
Finals Series Heads to the Hangar
The 2026 Finals Series will be hosted in the Newcastle region, with Raymond Terrace Bowling Club set to welcome the top five teams on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April.
With everything on the line, the weekend will culminate in the TAB Platinum Pennant Grand Final, set for 3.00pm on Sunday, where the Season III premier side will be crowned.
After Cabramatta claimed the inaugural title in Season I and Merrylands finished on top in Season II, the race is on to see who will add their name to the Platinum Pennant honour roll.

Matches from every round and the Finals Series will be streamed live on the Bowls NSW YouTube Channel, with replays, best ends and feature shots available throughout the season. Viewers can subscribe to the channel to stay across live coverage and on-demand content.
