NSW Players Set for 2025 Australian Indoor Championships
A talented line-up of New South Wales players is ready to challenge for national glory at the 2025 Australian Indoor Championships, set to take place at Club Tweed from August 11–14. Following a highly competitive qualification series earlier this year, 24 NSW players (11 men and 13 women) have secured their spots in the prestigious national event.
All eyes will be on defending champion Jack McShane, who returns to Club Tweed as the top seed after a breakout 2024 season. The Merrylands star and reigning World Indoor Singles Champion has been in red-hot form, most recently sinning the coveted Golden Nugget title. McShane will be joined by a stacked men’s field that includes Australian Open pairs champions and Warilla duo Corey Wedlock and Gary Kelly. Among the rising stars is Noah Jedrzejczyk (Merrylands), one of the youngest competitors in the draw at just 16 years old. Noah recently made his representative debut for the NSW Junior Blues at the Under 18 Tri-Series.
The women’s field is equally impressive, featuring 2025 Golden Nugget winner Jamie-Lee Worsnop, 2023 Indoor Singles runner-up Reese Finn-Young, and Louise Cronan, who returns for her second consecutive appearance. Rising junior Ella Cameron also features in the line-up. They’ll be joined by 2024 NSW Bowler of the Year Dawn Hayman, who secured her place after winning the 2025 Australian Open Singles title.
The event kicks off on Monday, August 11, with semi-finals scheduled for Wednesday, August 13. The women’s final will be played at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 14, followed by the men’s final at 2:00 pm.
