Over 40’s Pairs – Qualifying Update
Bowls NSW would like to thank all participants for their patience and perseverance following the challenging weather conditions experienced on 2-3 August.
After consultation with Regional Administrations and Host Clubs, we have identified suitable dates to reschedule matches that could not be completed. All draws have now been updated, including any changes to venues, dates, or times.
We encourage all competitors to carefully review the updated draw on BowlsLink, as some venues have changed and qualifying rounds may now take place on different dates across various regions.

We understand these new dates might cause scheduling conflicts. If you’re experiencing difficulties with availability, you can take one of the following actions:
- Get a substitute: Substitutes must be eligible players from your club who have not already played in the 2025/26 Over 40s Pairs.
- Re-form your team: If your matches did not commence, you may change team members as permitted by Domestic Regulations and Conditions of Play.
- Withdraw from the event: Please inform Bowls NSW, and we may be able to offer a refund of your entry fee.
If you are unable to participate on the new dates, please advise match@bowlsnsw.com.au by Wednesday 13th August at 4pm. If we do not receive notification by this date, we will assume your availability, and refunds will not be available after this deadline.
Please note, Bowls NSW reserves the right to adjust sectional draws if withdrawals impact the number of teams. We will aim to maintain sections of three or four teams wherever possible.
State Finals
The State Finals for the 2025/26 Over 40s Pairs remain scheduled as originally planned:
Venue: Yamba Bowling Club
Dates: Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December 2025
Once all qualifiers are confirmed, the final draw will be published online, and all qualifying teams will receive direct communication from Bowls NSW.
