Step Into a Key Leadership Role with Bowls NSW: Become Our Manager – Membership Services & Office Operations
Are you an organised, detail-driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional member service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Bowls NSW is seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our team as the Manager – Membership Services & Office Operations — a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our organisation.
Be the Backbone of Membership Excellence
With more than 600 clubs and 45,000 members across New South Wales, our membership base is the lifeblood of everything we do. As Manager – Membership Services, you’ll be the central point of contact for clubs and members, overseeing everything from player transfers and interstate clearances to managing our membership CRM (BowlsLink). You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of responsiveness, professionalism, and accuracy.
Your keen eye for detail and structured approach will allow you to navigate busy seasonal peaks and support the Executive and Board with critical reporting and strategic insights. From processing reimbursements to guiding clubs through compliance and affiliation, your work will directly shape the experience of our community.
Lead Office Operations with Confidence
In this diverse role, you’ll also take ownership of our office operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From supervising a direct report to managing IT issues, coordinating travel bookings, and maintaining a safe, well-resourced workplace, your organisational talents will shine through. You’ll be hands-on and adaptable, ready to roll up your sleeves and keep the gears turning — while continuously improving our systems and processes.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who blends exceptional people skills with technical know-how. You’ll need experience in membership administration or customer-focused operations, along with a demonstrated ability to manage complex or sensitive member issues. Strong communication, time management, and system administration skills are essential, and experience in a sporting, not-for-profit, or membership-based organisation is highly valued.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven ability in CRM/database management (experience with BowlsLink is a bonus)
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills, with comfort in troubleshooting and cloud systems
- Supervisory experience and a team-first attitude
- A professional, composed manner under pressure — and a commitment to continuous improvement
Why Work With Bowls NSW?
