2025 Indoor Singles Qualifiers Confirmed
The 2025 Australian Indoor Singles Qualifiers have wrapped up, and the NSW qualifiers are locked in! Following a record-breaking 470 entries and six days of competition across multiple venues, 12 women and 10 men have secured their spots in the prestigious Australian Indoor Championships which takes place later this year at Club Tweed from August 11-14, 2025.
Among the qualifiers is Cabramatta’s Jamie-Lee Worsnop, who will be looking to add a second Indoor title to her impressive resume. She famously won the event in 2014 at just 17 years old and now returns as a strong contender. Rising stars Ella Cameron from Gunnedah and Reese Finn-Young from Merimbula are also set to make their mark. Reese Finn-Young, who captured attention as a runner-up in 2023 at just 16 years of age, will be eager to build on her remarkable debut.
The men’s qualifiers include an exciting mix of talent, including Noah Jedrzejczyk, Merrylands’ 15-year-old prodigy and the youngest NSW competitor in the field. He joins a powerhouse lineup featuring former World Champion Corey Wedlock from Warilla and his fellow teammate and international star Gary Kelly.
Set to join the qualifiers will be defending Men’s Champion and NSW young-gun Jack McShane (Merrylands), who would be aiming to become the first men’s back-to-back champion since Jeremy Henry achieved the feat in 2015 and 2016.
With a blend of emerging stars and seasoned campaigners qualifying from NSW, the stage is set for a thrilling Indoor Championships at Club Tweed this August!
Congratulations to the following players on making it through qualifying.
