2024/25 STATE ROOKIES – ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Entries are now open for the 2024/25 Bowls NSW State Rookies events! Always one the most popular events on the Bowls NSW calendar, the Rookies is the perfect event for new bowlers to meet and compete against other players.
The event will be played across Singles and Pairs formats with the State finals to take place from 21 – 24 November at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club.
Regional qualifying for the Rookies Singles will be held on 17-18 August and Rookie Pairs qualifying will be held from 12-13 October. Venues for all Regional Qualifying will be confirmed at a later date after entries have closed.
To be eligible to play, players must not have been a bowling member of a club (anywhere in the world) before 1 April 2022 and must not have played in more than one year of Rookies Competitions in previous years. (May have played in one year only of Rookies in 2022-23 or 2023-24).
Previous State winners are ineligible to enter in that discipline. Singles players and Pairs teams must enter qualifying within their own Region.
Entries for the Rookie Singles Qualifying close on 3rd July, and entries for the Rookie Pairs Qualifying close on 28 August.
