Bowls NSW Board Nominations Open
Following the initial term of the interim Board of Bowls NSW Ltd, nominations are now open for the election of eight (8) elected Directors to join the board.
Nominations must be delivered to the Chief Executive Officer before 10am Friday 6 October 2023.
Nominees should be fully aware of the roles and legal responsibilities of Directors as required by ASIC, which includes but is not limited to, obtaining a Director Identification Number (DIN) prior to any appointment.

Per the Bowls NSW Constitution, nominations for the board must be:
a. in writing;
b. on the prescribed form, provided for that purpose;
c. signed by an authorised representative from two (2) Clubs;
d. certified by the nominee (who must be an Individual Member) expressing their willingness to accept the position for which they are nominated; and
e. delivered to the Company not less than thirty-five (35) days before the date fixed for the AGM.

Please refer to section 5.2 of the Bowls NSW Regulations for Elected Director eligibility criteria; Section 5.3 for Elected Directors Core Competencies and further eligibility information. It is important that nominees are aware of the criteria and core competencies.

Submission of Nominations
Please submit your nomination form direct to Bowls NSW CEO Tim Rowe by no later than 10am on Friday 6 October 2023. Nominations will be accepted via email to email@example.com – this is the preferred method of submitting nominations. Please title your email “Director Nomination”.
