NSW v QLD Test Series
It was a mixed bag of results for the KENO NSW Blues in their annual Test Series against Queensland. In a high quality event played at Club Tweed, the KENO NSW Men’s Open Side overcame a First Test loss to claim the series 2-1, while the Men’s Over 40’s Side retained their Shield after recording a 1.5-1.5 Series result against their Queensland opposition.
Our U25 Women’s Side also tied their series 1.5-1.5, but as winners of the previous series, it was Queensland who retained the shield. The Men’s U25 and Women’s O40 Sides both lost 2 Tests to 1, and our Women’s Open Side fought hard but were beaten by quality opposition 3 Tests to nil.
Next up on the State Representative calendar is the NSW v Victoria Series which will take place at Warilla Bowling Club. The KENO NSW Blues Open Sides will play from 4-6 August, and the KENO NSW Senior Blues will play from 7-8 August.
