Under 18’s Junior Tri Series
New South Wales – Queensland – Victoria
A fantastic three days of bowling showcasing the emerging stars of our sport was held earlier this week with the inaugural holding of the Junior Tri-Series between New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
Each side featured eight boys and eight girls competing across six sessions of play in Singles, Pairs, Triples & Fours competition. The format used will mirror what the athletes will be competing in at the upcoming Australian Junior Championships in Western Australia.
Victoria finished the series in dominant fashion by claiming victories in both the Girls & Boys events, as well as taking out the overall trophy. The standard of play thrilled all officials and spectators alike, with all players showing the tremendous skill set that saw them gain State representation.
Thank you to Cabramatta Bowling Club, and their Bowls Manager Bailey Meti, for being such fantastic hosts for this event. Bowls NSW is proud to continue its ongoing relationship with the club as the home of our Under 18’s Junior Blues.
