2023/24 State Rookies Entries Open
The 2023-24 Rookies State Finals are taking place between 30 November – 3 December at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club.
Singles – Thursday 30 November & Friday 1 December 2023
Pairs – Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 December 2023
To be eligible as a Rookie for the 2023/24 events, you must have joined a bowling club after 1st April 2019. (Any person who was a member of a bowling club prior to this date is not eligible).
This qualification date has been extended as a result of COVID and the related lockdowns, meaning any player who missed out in 2020 or 2021 may still be eligible this year.
Players may only play in Rookies twice. A player who played in Rookies events in the 2019 and in the 2022/23 season is not eligible to enter.
Entries are open to male and female bowlers. Pairs teams are not required to be from the same club, although they are required to be from clubs within the same Zone boundaries.
Singles Qualifying – venues in your local Zone, 9 – 10 September 2023.
Entries for Singles close 2 August 2023
Pairs Qualifying – venues in your local Zone, 14 – 15 October 2023.
Entries for Pairs close on 11 September 2023.
