Expressions of Interest Open for NSW State Sides
The Bowls NSW State Selection Committee are seeking to identify those eligible male and female players who are interested in being considered for selection in the following NSW Men’s and Women’s State sides:
- KENO NSW Blues
- NSW State Senior Side – age restricted to 60 (or over) at time of Australian Nationals
- NSW State Over 40 Side – age restricted to 40 (or over) at time of series
- NSW State Under 25 Side – age restricted to Under 25 at time of series
Open and Senior squads will be selected to participate in the State Selection Series to be held at Cabramatta Bowling Club. The Senior Selection Series will take place on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July 2023 and the Open Selection Series will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July.
Following the State Selection Series, sides will be selected to represent NSW in the Inter-State Test Series against Victoria from 4-6 August (KENO NSW Blues sides) and 7-8 August (State Senior sides). State sides for the Test Series against Queensland from 17-19 July (KENO NSW Blues, O40s and U25 sides) will be selected after the 2022-23 State Inter-Zone Championships. Players selected in the State O40s and U25 sides will be required to attend the State Selection Series between 8 – 9 July to compete in internal trials.
Any player wishing to express an interest in being considered for selection should complete all details in the attached form including the Player Details section, Player Availability section and the Playing Record section.
Players should submit the completed EOI form via email to communications@bowlsnsw.com.au. EOI’s must be submitted by 7th May 2023.
