Seven KENO NSW Blues Selected for World Bowls Championships
Bowls Australia have announced the Jackaroos squad that will represent Australia at the 2023 World Bowls Championships on the Gold Coast in August. Included in the squad are seven of our very own KENO NSW Blues, six of them debutants in the international event!
Ellen Ryan (Cabramatta), Dawn Hayman (St Johns Park), Carl Healey (Cabramatta), Jaqueline Hudson (Fingal Bay), Corey Wedlock (Warilla) and Aaron Teys (Warilla) will make their first appearance in the World Championships, along with Aaron Wilson (Cabramatta) who won gold as a skip in the Men’s Pairs discipline back in 2016.
Australia will be looking to continue their success on the international stage after a record-breaking performance at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games last year and the recent Multi-Nations event held last week.
