NSW v QLD Test Series Results Decided as Wet Weather Wreaks Havoc
Wet weather has led to a decision being made to abandon the Third Test in the series between the KENO NSW Blues and Queensland, with conditions too difficult to continue play.
The first two Tests were able to be completed yesterday afternoon and this morning respectively, with all players putting on a show for the strong crowds at Taren Point Bowling Club. As the Third Test got under way in the afternoon, the bad weather hit and despite multiple attempts to get back out on the green, the matches were eventually called off.
Following the abandonment of the Third Test, decisions were made between both States in deciding the outcome of each Test Series. The results from each Test series are outlined below, and congratulations to each winning side!
Men’s Open Test Series – NSW win series 2-0
Women’s Open Test Series – Series remains tied 1-1. Deciding match to be played during the Nationals in October
Men’s Over 40’s Test Series – NSW win Series on aggregate (1-1 in Tests, 93-73)
Women’s Over 40’s Test Series – QLD win Series on aggregate (1-1 in Tests, 80-71)
Men’s Under 25 Test Series – Series Drawn 1-1, NSW retain shield
Women’s Under 25 Test Series – QLD win series 2-0
