Inter Schools Challenge Qualifying Kicks Off
The 2022 Inter Schools Challenge is under way with the first Qualifying event completed at Camden Bowling Club!
Thirty eager students from St Benedict’s Catholic College and Camden High School were treated to a coaching session at Camden BC before linking up in triples teams to compete in a round-robin qualifying event.
The event was a huge success with all students enjoying the quickfire format, consisting of two five-end sets and a tie-breaker end if required. Add in the music playing across the green and perfect weather conditions, and it made for a perfect day of bowls.
Boys and girls alike enjoyed the competitive atmosphere as well as the challenges that came with mastering their skills on the green. Each rink also had a bowling member present to assist any players when needed.
Congratulations to everyone who participated, the future of the sport is looking bright with the talent that was on display across the greens!
