A great opportunity 

The Greens, The Entrance has been a meeting place for passionate players of lawn bowls since 1944. Building mateship through sport and social connections is at the heart of what we do. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate leader to contribute to the growth of the sport. This role will see you working with the Venue Manager and Bowling Club Committee to provide an excellent bowls program in addition to outstanding customer service. 

Responsibilities include:

Assist with delivery of the annual Bowls program and daily running of the bowls events
Coordinate and facilitate planned tournaments (State, Zone and District)
Ensure the bowling facilities are clean and in an optimal state of presentation at all times
Respond in a timely manner to all bowls and community-related phone calls and correspondence
Prepare calendar in conjunction with Match Committee for Club Championships
Prepare nomination sheets, notify/display dates, reconcile payments, prepare draws, prepare scorecards, update and announce results for championships/events/tournaments
Liaise with the Zone, District and Bowls NSW Executives ensuring regualtory requirements are met and communicating key messages to bowling members.

About you

Our successful candidate will demonstrate confidence and skills to communicate effectively with teammates and customers, have a natural talent for coaching and mentoring others and a passion for providing memorable customer experiences.

To succeed in this role you’ll have:

A passion for Bowls
Current RSA & RCG certificates
Previous experience as a Bowls Coordinator or involvement with a bowling club
Experience proactively dealing with customer enquiries
Qualifications in Leadership / Customer Service (desirable)
Ability to work across days, evenings and weekends should the role require.
