NSW v Queensland Test Series Cancelled
Due to the developing COVID situation and the related lockdowns and restrictions in place around the state, Bowls NSW Limited and Bowls Queensland have made the tough decision to cancel the Test Series set to be held at Taren Point from 28-29 July.
While this decision is disappointing, it is also necessary to ensure the health and safety of all players, spectators and the broader community.
Bowls NSW Limited would like to take this opportunity to thank Taren Point Bowling Club for their continual support and understanding throughout this process.
The Senior State Test Series against Victoria (4-5 August at Whittlesea), Junior State Test Series against Queensland (7-8 August at Chermside) and Open & U25 Test Series against Victoria (13-14 August at Figtree) are still set to proceed as scheduled, however Bowls NSW Limited is monitoring the situation closely in line with Government guidelines and recommendations.
As a result, team announcements have been held off until next week.
