Senior Inter-Zones Sides Championship
Illawarra (Zone 16), Central Coast (Zone 15), North Coast (Zone 14) and South East NSW (Zone 7) will face off in the Semi-Finals of the Senior inter-Zones Sides Championship at South Tamworth BC (19/5/21).
Reigning Champions Illawarra progressed from their Quarter-Final with a very strong 71-47 victory over Greater Western Sydney (Zone 5).
North Coast has gone from strength to strength after stumbling to Illawarra, powering through their remaining sectional games to qualify second in their section before swamping Far North Coast (Zone 1) 79-23 in their Quarter-Final.
South East NSW defeated Central Coast in their Final pool match for the two Zones to finish 1st and 2nd respectively and claim progression to the knockout stage.
Manning (Zone 11) claimed two rink wins over South East NSW in their Quarter-Final, however a strong 24-8 win by Ken Snowdon’s rink tipped the match in favour of South East NSW 58-47.
Central Coast survived a late charge from Sydney Northern (Zone 9) to claim a 63-56 victory.
In the Semi-Finals, North Coast (14) will take on South East NSW (Zone 7) and Illawarra (Zone 16) will battle Central Coast (Zone 15)
