The final sectional round of the 2021 Senior Inter-Zone Sides Championship will see a number of sides pressing their claims for a semi-final berth after their results from day 1 (17/5/21) at South Tamworth, West Tamworth and Tamworth City Bowling Clubs.

In Section 1 at South Tamworth, Far North Coast (Zone 1) has guaranteed their progression with two solid wins. Newcastle (Zone 2) and Greater Western Sydney (Zone 5) both recorded a win and a loss and their Round 3 clash will determine which of the two will also progress to the quarter finals. Far North Coast will battle winless Hunter (Zone 6).

In Section 2 at South Tamworth, Illawarra (Zone 16) leads the race for a Quarter-Final berth after recording wins in each of their opening matches. North Coast (Zone 14) and Sydney South West (Zone 12) both registered a win and a loss in their opening two matches. North Coast will progress if they prevail over winless Mid-Western NSW (Zone 4). Illawarra will progress if they win 1 rink, while Sydney South West can guarantee their pass to the knockout stage if they can beat Illawarra on all three rinks and win by at least 24 overall, failing that they need to defeat Illawarra and hope that Mid-Western NSW will claim a win over North Coast.

In Section 3 at West Tamworth, Central Coast (Zone 15) tops the ladder after winning both of their opening matches, both wins courtesy of a single rink win. South Eastern NSW (Zone 7) and Sydney Central & Southern (Zone 13) each recorded one win and the host, North Western NSW (Zone 3) finished the day with 2 losses. Only the hosts cannot progress from this section. South Eastern NSW takes on Central Coast while Sydney Central & Southern will progress with a win over North Western NSW.

In Section 4 at Tamworth City, Manning (Zone 11) has recorded victories in both of their matches and top the table while Sydney Northern (Zone 9) and South Western NSW (Zone 8) each had a win. Sydney North West (Zone 10) recorded two losses.

Sydney Northern will claim a Quarter-Final berth with a victory over Sydney North West. South Eastern NSW will guarantee their progression with a victory with a t least 2 rink wins over Manning, while Manning will be assured if they win the clash.
